Thermochromic Fitness Outfit (Working title)

So over the last few months I've been looking into the incredible technology of thermochromic material and the amazing ways in which designers are using it already in the industry, be it in high end (for example Alexander Wang A/W14) or within textiles (Marjan Kooroshnia) . Along with this I've also been looking into, and have become totally inspired by, the This Girl Can Campaign by Sports England so have decided to incorporate the two for a short project. After the short lived success of Global Hyper Color in the '90s many of you might be thinking that using fabric that changes colour when heated would be the worst thing to use for a workout outfit, but I have paneled it carefully to create a flattering finish whilst also encouraging women to embrace the sweat and work hard whilst exercising. The leggings also feature a built-in pocket in the waistband to carry your phone, credit card or keys safely during your chosen workout and the vest is lined on the upper half to give support across the chest.
